Train the Trainer

Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

The teacher training course is aimed at those who would like to enter teaching in both the public sector and or as an independent trainer.

11. Be able to evaluate the delivery of inclusive teaching and learning
12. Understand types and methods of assessment used in education and training
13. Understand how to involve learners and others in the assessment process
14. Understand the role and use of constructive feedback in the assessment process
15. Understand the requirements for keeping records of assessment in education and
      training

Teaching & Assessment
Teaching and learning methods used will include classroom based group sessions, small group work, discussions, observations of micro-teaching, a variety of ILT resources and individual tutorials. There is no minimum teaching practice requirement but a minimum micro-teaching requirement will apply.

This requires the first payment at enrollment followed by two installments paid in consecutive months by direct debit, commencing the month after the course commenced.

Course Fee £725.00 (Including £50.00 enrollment deposit)

Entry Requirements
You should have a relevant vocational, professional or academic qualification in the subject you intend to teach and be willing to undertake personal study alongside this programme.

The CIEH Level 3 Award in Education and Training is suitable for individuals who have the potential to study at this level, which has the same level of demand as that of study for A-levels. All trainee teachers joining this training programme should undertake an initial assessment of skills in English, mathematics and ICT. They should record their development needs and, if applicable, agree an action plan to address them. If trainee teachers join the qualification programme having already undertaken an initial assessment of their English, mathematics and ICT skills, their record of development needs and any previous actions taken to address them should be reviewed and updated as required.
